Erin Hardiman

Erin Hardiman, PT, DPT, is a highly skilled physical therapist specializing in functional movement assessment, orthopedic care, and pelvic floor dysfunctions. With over a decade of experience in treating a broad range of orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic health conditions, she takes a comprehensive and individualized approach to patient care. Erin has advanced training in visceral and fascial mobilization techniques, allowing her to address the body both technically and holistically.

Recognizing that certain diagnosis require a multidisciplinary approach, Erin serves to advocate for her patients as an integral part of their care team. Erin’s personal approach focuses on the importance of understanding how movement patterns effect painful structures and teaches her patients how to retrain their interface with everyday activities to live pain free and meet their individual goals. She addresses ways that trauma can be stored in tissues and how behavioral patterns and underlying factors contribute to each patient’s unique condition and experience.

Erin is committed to delivering tailored treatment plans that meet each client’s specific needs, often incorporating Pilates to enhance core connection for her patients as well as identifying joint restrictions or weakness in intrinsic stabilizing muscles. Through Restorative Physical Therapy and Pelvic Health, she offers concierge services, including house calls, ensuring patients receive care in the comfort of their own space if needed as well as virtual sessions.

Erin is passionate about healing, human movement, and patient education. As a member of ISSWSH (International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health) Erin is actively engaged in patient advocacy as well as connecting with scholars, researchers, and fellow practitioners in an effort to provide optimal care.

“Completing my journey to becoming a certified Pilates instructor wouldn’t have been possible without Erin. Her expertise in movement, anatomy, and the full Pilates repertoire was invaluable. Not only does she teach Pilates with precision and fun, but she can also demonstrate everything - an incredible example to learn from. She knew when to push me to challenge myself and when to provide just the right guidance. Her in-depth expertise in pelvic health is at the leading edge of movement science, setting her apart from other instructors. Her encouragement, deep knowledge as a DPT, and ability to mentor at every level were key to my success, and I know she can do the same for anyone she teaches.”
